Description
The aim of this project is to create an application to aid a file systems expert in repairing corrupt and thus unreadable partitions, or least allowing him to extract the data to another disk.
FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS partitions can already be read (without using the operating system drivers, which aren't very tolerant regarding incorrect data). Network support allows the expert to sit at another computer than the one the corrupt partition is connected to. Modifications can be done virtually (without the changes being written to the disk) to allow interactive testing whether the changes fix the problem. Scripting support allows to automate various tasks.
The system is not in active use.
