Description
A small experimental project to explore the internals of operating systems. CortOS is a simple, 100% assembler operating system that doesn't do anything else than booting, registering an interrupt to allow applications to call operating system functions and then start a command prompt that can be used to launch applications.
Two applications have been written, both 100% assembler, to test the operating system functions.
Thanks to VMware, it's now possible to run CortOS without a bootdisk and any danger to the data on the harddrives.
